AVALON Sustainability School is an integral learning experience for young people, combining art, adventure and skills for a resilient future in an international English speaking environment.

We are currently preparing next year’s spring camp (24th March to 7th April) and four exciting weeks of summer camps in July. Both camps will be held in a beautiful protected wilderness area in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees.
The camp is led by a team of experienced outdoor guides, educational facilitators, and language coaches. Participants are offered a choice of adventure activities (rock climbing, canyoning, trekking and archery), creative activities (music, photography, video, dance and land art), and life skills: how to work in a team, how to build with natural materials, communicate with different people and face new challenges.
Inspired by the international Gaia Education Program, Avalon offers a time and place for intercultural exchange, sharing values, learning new skills and having fun. Participants will be taking part in a pioneering education for sustainability program and for non-native English speakers, it is a fantastic opportunity to be immersed in the language.
Avalon Sustainability School is a joint venture betweeen Barcelonya and Active Earth Learning who have over 10 years’ experience running nature-based learning activities.
